A look back at the Texas Ironman where I was finally able to finish.
It's been six years since I've finished a full distance.
I'm really happy, even though I had different goals in mind. But the number one goal was to finish it.
A lot of things didn't go as I would have liked, but I was finally able to take a step back and accept where I am and what I can do.
I hope the rest of the season will be better for the results, but I hope to keep the mindset I had forgotten.
Next race this weekend in Cambridge, MD, for the 70.3 Eagleman race of the PRO Series Tour IRONMAN.
